Model #: VI414610 / 20. Condition: New but appears to have have been a store display as it has a couple markings on it’s glass surface from being moved around. You can see them in the photos. There is one about an inch north of center that can only seen at certain angles and with a light and one about 5 inches southwest of center that looks to be silver paint or something like that. Maybe scratches, hard to tell. No noticeable marks anywhere else that wouldnt be expected after simply owning it yourself and using it for a week. Testing: Did the same testing for all of the Vario 400’s with a control knobs: 1. Plugged into a 220V power jack. Light around knob came on when set at “0” at startup. Rotated to “10” setting and a red light on bottom right corner of cooktop blinks, showing it is waiting to notice a pan that will create a magnetic field with the cooktop. When pan is placed upon it, in a second or two it recognized the magnetic field and started to heat the cooktop. In is SUPER fast at heating the water! Stainless steel is so hard to keep shiny clean so they are not perfectly clean as it’s almost impossible to do.
