The surface is a burner, fueled by natural gas. The JGP637SEJ1SS model includes sealed burners and features a glass finish. No matter your cooking needs, this GE cooktop has got you covered. Unit is used and might have normal signs of wear (scratches, scuffs and scraps) but nothing bad as you can see in the pictures. Much less than normal use, only removed for a remodel.
