This item is a. KitchenAid 36 electric downdraft radiant glass cooktop black KECD866RBL00. This is a used cooktop. This cooktop functions perfectly fine everything works the way it is suppose to and there is not a single issue with its function. In fact I just replaced one of the switches with a new one. Looks wise this cooktop looks good as well there are some scratches and I’m not going to tell you that these scratches are invisible or anything but they are not very significant in my opinion. Under normal lighting conditions you can see the scratches if you are trying to, but if your not they are not very noticeable. I took several pictures of each burner including with flash which super highlights every detail far beyond how it appears under normal lighting so you can see exactly the condition of the unit. I will also mention that I painted the vent cover it looks good but its not quite a factory finish. The knobs are all in really good shape and have little wear. I would rate this cooktop 9 out of 10 appearance wise. As I mentioned I replaced a switch the one for the front L the 3 size burner one. This demonstrates the utility of this unit if a switch or whatever goes bad you can actually replace it and its really not that hard. So for your longevity investment this type of unit that can actually be serviced is much preferable in my opinion. So a nice simple solidly built unit like this made by a good name brand KitchenAid / Whirlpool is so much better. OK I’m done with my rant. This cooktop works perfect and looks good as well. It is made by KitchenAid so you already know in advance that its going to last and give you the consistent performance you expect. The top deck of this unit measures 36 3/8 X 21 7/8 you will need cutout appx 35 3/8 X 20 3/4. The left front burner can be set to 5, 7, or 9″ the left back burner is 6″ the front R is 6.5 the right back burner can be set to 5.5 or 8.5 the downdraft fan has 3 speeds. Uses standard 230V cooktop power L1, L2, G. You can see the marks I made to make reassembly simple. Just use the photos as a reference and follow the arrows. After you get it all together and have plugged in the fan you then tuck the wire down inside the unit and use the plastic clip in the photo to hold it in place. Very easy to assemble. Of course I dust off the materials and wipe them with a damp cloth etc. But I sometimes miss some spots. I point this out because I know some people are very sensitive to these things.
